We are seeking a full-time Senior Data Science Consultant with strong data science and consulting expertise
to join a dynamic and growing Data Science team.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Data Science team, the successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Data Science.
The Senior Data Science Consultant will be responsible for designing and leading data science projects, while
providing strategic insights and recommendations to clients by leveraging data analytics and alternative
data.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and advanced data
analytics capabilities to drive impactful solutions and assist clients in achieving their business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic Analysis: Support Sales and Consulting functions with analysis of client businesses, industries,
and market trends to identify strategic opportunities and challenges.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate proactively with clients and consulting teams to develop strategic plans and
roadmaps based on data-driven insights.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling
and cross-selling value-added services.
• Project Leadership: Design and lead data science and analytics projects aligned with client requirements
and agreed timelines.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Modelling & Forecasting: Develop predictive models, data products, and forecasting algorithms to support
strategic decision-making.
• Performance Measurement: Develop KPI frameworks and reporting dashboards for strategic initiatives.
• Thought Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data
science and alternative data.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related
field.
• Postgraduate degree preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years’ experience in strategic or management consulting with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• 7+ years’ experience in a senior-level data science role.
• Experience within the financial industry, particularly credit risk or pricing models, would be advantageous.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and related data visualisation tools.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with PySpark, Apache Spark, and Azure Synapse.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or modern data lakehouse technologies is advantageous.
